On Friday, 8 January 2016 the go-ahead for ‘Dockland’ was given in port of Ghent in the presence of Flemish ministers Philippe Muyters and Joke Schauvliege. Dockland wants to bundle all applications for permits for chemical companies at one specific industrial site in advance. Consequently, the companies that want to establish themselves there will straight away comply with all legal requirements.
